A HUGE shout out to this inspired Distance Education program! It is a beautiful marriage between homeschool and charter school. This inspired program has made it possible for us to take the huge leap of faith to Distance Education this year! We are extremely grateful for all the support and amazing resources this incredible team provide! They also facilitate fabulous field trips! We are truly grateful for this inspired program! It is fluid and shifts based on the needs of our children and the families involved. We are immensely blessed and so grateful to be a part of this amazing program!his program is exactly what I had been looking for in my children’s schooling experience. I love the balance it gives me and my family as we get to learn so much together both in our home and on the wonderful family field trips set up through the Distance Program. This program also allows me to provide one on one time so my kids can learn at their own speed and discover things that interest them. I love the small weekly classrooms with hands-on learning. It is wonderful to be able to teach using the abundance of resources and know my kids are learning everything they need to learn.
The distance program has provided the perfect balance for our family. My children have learned some amazing and interesting things with their teachers at school, while still allowing me to guide their education and be with them a good portion of the week. The program has also planned many great field trips that I have brought all 6 of my children to for a reasonable price and very little planning on my part. Thank you!
My daughter was just showing her younger siblings the lap-books she made about the Constitution and Frederick Douglass and teaching them everything she learned. What a neat project! I’m thankful for all that you teachers, administrators, and helpers are doing. I’ve been homeschooling for 8 years and discovering a program that comes alongside you to help you accomplish your goals is such a blessing.

Distance Ed is a community, a family, a tie of parents who all want the same outcome for their children–something different, something better. Many parents, including myself, have said that we may not have taken the leap to homeschool if there weren’t this wonderful balance of half home school, half charter school. Half the week, they’re with friends in classes and field trips and half the week, they’re working on curriculum and hands on learning experiences at home. It’s the best win-win I’ve ever discovered in education, and we can’t imagine our life with out it. Our children are thriving cognitively, emotionally, physically, and socially thanks to our partnership with this amazing program!
We kept going back and forth between public and home school options. We saw the benefits to both choices and didn’t want to compromise with our kids’ education… we wanted to have our cake and eat it too! Then we found the Distance Education Program. I was finally able to stop second guessing myself and really felt good about our kids’ schooling for the first time. They offer the best of both worlds. Curriculum of my choosing for each child, a resource library full of supporting materials, an educational specialist to answer our questions and make meaningful recommendations, enriching elective courses, a chance to learn teamwork skills, have fun, and interact with peers, a chance to be home learning in our family-centered environment, a chance to move at their own pace with lessons tailored to their interests and abilities. I have complete control over what and how my children are learning and they still get to experience a peer group setting once a week where they have made friends and learned independence and confidence. Literally, everything I wanted in training my children and preparing them for the future.
